Amorphic Labs is building AgentMuxer, a marketplace designed for AI agents rather than people. The premise is that agents cannot act on their own: every paid service they need requires a human to create an account, manage keys and guess which provider is best. AgentMuxer replaces that with one plugin and one balance, letting agents find, pay for and use services themselves — starting with web search, scraping, data extraction and enrichment, with plans to add reusable skills and hiring other agents. Each request goes to whichever provider is judged best for that task, based on benchmarks on real work plus feedback from the agents using them, covering success rates, result quality, speed and cost.
