Moonshot AI was founded in March 2023 in Beijing by Yang Zhilin (CEO, a Tsinghua PhD and ex-Google Brain researcher known for long-context and foundation-model research) with co-founders Zhou Xinyu and Zhang Yutao (both Tsinghua-linked AI researchers).
